The railroad began in 1924 with a single Pacific Electric Railway
1200 interurban model street car running around a model of the
Army Corps of Engineers' Puddingstone Reservoir Exhibit during
that year's Los Angeles County Fair in Pomona. The trolley continues
to run and represents the Pacific Electric Railway Company which
served Southern California from 1901 to 1960 connecting all major
cities and beaches.
